Description

Psyllium husks have a high reputation as an intestinal cleanser and is utilised for its excellent fibre content. It is one of the most popular fibres used to assist in the relief of constipation.

Herb Valley Psyllium 95% (First Milling) has very high roughage and a coarse texture. It can be added to the diet by sprinkling over cereals and used in baking.

Recommended Daily Dosage

Mix 1 teaspoon of psyllium husk powder briskly into a glass of water, followed by another glass of water, two times a day.

Caution

Too much Psyllium at one time may cause stomach discomfort or gassiness. It is important to drink 8-10 glasses of water throughout the day when you are using this substance to increase its efficiency.

Do not use Psyllium to treat an ulcer or colitis without checking with your healthcare practitioner.

Vitamin, mineral, and herbal supplements are not intended to replace a balanced diet.
